Studies show that watching the videos below before your skills testing can save you time in the classroom. Take a few minutes to review these resources to ensure your course is smooth and efficient.
Note: These videos are not required if you’re taking BLS or CPR & First Aid.
We send out online course invitations three times daily, between 8 AM and 5 PM. To take the American Heart Association online course, you’ll need a computer or tablet—phones are not supported.
The course is designed to adapt to your current knowledge level, meaning its length will vary based on your experience. Here’s what to expect:
BLS: 1-2 hours
ACLS or PALS: 3-4 hours
You don’t need to complete the course in one sitting. Feel free to start and stop as needed.
Getting ready for your BLS, ACLS, or PALS course? Here’s what you need to do. On your scheduled registration date and time, head to your testing location with your RQI login credentials and the entry instructions you received via text or email. Once onsite, put on a pair of gloves and log in using your username and password on the provided computer (touchscreen or keyboard—it’s your choice). Then, simply follow the on-screen prompts to begin your skills session.
Your testing will be guided by a VAM (voice-assisted manikin), so no instructor will be physically present. But don’t worry—if you run into any issues, you can call our office during your session. Our friendly, dedicated team is ready to assist you and ensure a smooth experience.
Getting ready to take your CPR and First-Aid course? Here’s what you need to know.
On the day and time you selected during registration, show up at your designated testing location. Be sure to bring your phone with you. When you arrive, your instructor will contact you via text or through the room’s cameras to begin your skills testing.
A certified virtual American Heart Association instructor will guide you through each step of the process. Once you’ve completed the testing, you’ll receive your certification card the same day.
On the day of your course, you’ll receive a free keychain CPR mask, available in a variety of vibrant colors.
A CPR mask is an essential tool for providing effective CPR while protecting yourself. Using a CPR breathing mask ensures safety when following universal precautions.
Once you’ve completed your American Heart Association training, we’d love to hear your thoughts! Please leave us a review on Google, Yelp, or Facebook. As a women-owned business, your feedback makes a big difference. Thank you for your support!
When you register for a class, keep in mind that performing chest compressions on a manikin can strain your hands, wrists, arms, or body. If you have any pre-existing physical conditions—such as pain, carpal tunnel, weakness, or an injury—we recommend waiting until you feel better before attending.
If you feel fatigued or run out of time during the class, don’t worry. Call our office, and we’ll reschedule you for free. Alternatively, you can stay in the room and complete your skills at your own pace.
Reschedule/Cancellation Policy
We don’t offer refunds once you register, but rescheduling is easy. You can reschedule your course at any time by paying a $30 rescheduling fee for each change.

Reschedule Insurance
If you purchased reschedule insurance during booking, you can skip the fee and proceed directly to the rescheduling form.
